Georgetown University – McDonough Arena
McDonough Arena is home of the Georgetown Hoyas which has produced several NBA hall of famers such as Patrick Ewing, Allen Iverson & Alonzo Mourning.
Georgetown University performed a complete renovation to the gymnasium area, which included replacement of the bleachers & hardwood flooring. Prior to the renovation, the University had existing Hussey motorized telescopic bleacher system that were installed in the mid 1980’s. That bleacher system was still in good working order nearly 40 years later!
With this excellent performance & reliability in mind, the University chose to go with Hussey bleachers for this renovation. The replacement system is our Maxam Plus motorized platform with auto fold Metro chair system & auto folding aisle rails.
