Henrico Sports & Events Center – Richmond VA
Working directly for the Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority, TJ Distributors successfully completed the largest project in our company’s history. This building is said to be the largest indoor sports center on the East Coast. This massive indoor complex measures about 650′ long x 160′ wide, the size of two football fields!
With a seating capacity of 4,000, the building regularly hosts very large events including the A-10 college basketball tournament, American Cornhole League, and many basketball & volleyball weekend tournament events.
The equipment arrangement and flexibility provides the owner with endless layout options and capabilities for after hours parks & rec events and space rentals.

Hussey Seating:
- 3,500 seat capacity retractable bleachers with Metro auto folding chair system
Gared Performance Sports Systems:
- (32) ceiling hung, motorized retractable basketball goals
- (2) portable main competition court basketball goals
- (12) ceiling hung, motorized divider curtains
- (24) Skymaster, ceiling mounted retractable volleyball systems
- (12) motorized retractable scoreboard mounting system
- All equipment controlled by TSC WIFI enabled portable device
- (48) tip & roll portable bleacher systems
- 850 linear feet of wall athletic safety padding, fully wrapped around the perimeter of building
Daktronics:
- (12) ceiling hung scoreboards, mounted on custom retractable frame system
- (1) ceiling suspended, 4-sided video scoreboard system over the main competition court
